I Heart Monday

I do love a Monday. Except this one. Dang, the time change knocked me on my arse. At least we'll blame it on that.

In others news:

*At Mass on Sunday, a little girl yelled repeatedly on her way back from Communion, "I AM THE LINE LEADER! I AM THE LINE LEADER!" She emphasized a different word every time she yelled it and I thought it was hilarious. Abso hysterical. So did the minis.

*Went to the neurologist today and she has added riboflavin and magnesium to my repertoire. I saw her over the weekend at the outlets and after she saw the minis, she totally validated my migraines. hee hee

*The minis and I are headed to the beach in 2.5 weeks, and then to Disney. We are staying at Caribbean Beach and they keep calling it Pirates of the Caribbean Beach. I got so tired of correcting them, that now that's what I am calling it too. POTCB. Get on board.

*Minis birthday parties are this Friday and next at a pizza place. Invites were 18" pizza boxes with construction paper pizzas inside. Huge and so much fun to make. At least the first one. I made 50 and they got a little, ahem, tedious. However, the minis thought it was the most fun to deliver the "pizzas" to everyone in their classes...and then some!

In other news, it was all I could do today to get to the YMCA and workout. I was so over it, but hauled my proverbial cookies over there anyway.

I did my Rachel Cosgrove workout reluctantly and with a C+ result.

But it was better than sitting on the recumbent bike and watching Saved By the Bell, which is what I really wanted to do.

Best. Workout. Ever.

Today I could barely rouse my self off the sofa to go to the Y. Was not feeling it. Called FitGirl for motivation. She gave me a pass to take a nap. She rocks like that.

And yet.

And yet, I had an amazing workout once I got there. Did my whole planned workout...then ran 3 miles. In short time no less. Take that. I've been having a whole clothing/panty line/sports bra

debate lately and today I managed for the trifecta of comfy, cute and cool. Duh. That helped.

Also? Those "thermometer jeans" (when they fit you know you're hot)I bought on February 8th? 2 sizes too small? Couldn't even pull them up past my thighs? Um, they totally button.

BUTTON!!! Don't misunderstand me. I can't breathe, or walk, or talk in them...but they button. Which means Take Over Make Over 2010 is working. Big time. I still don't own a pair of shorts and am headed to the beach in 3 weeks, but we'll get to that later. Soon, but later.

Countdown boxes are like advent calendars for parents-to-be. Each countdown box holds 10 smaller boxes, numbered 1-10. The numbered boxes each have a baby item, such as a onesie, book, or hat inside. Starting 10 days before the baby's due date, parents open box #10, 9 days before the baby's due date, they open box #9, and so on... until all of the boxes are opened and the baby's due date has arrived.
